Our Community Arts space is seeking instructors of art, crafts, music, dance, mind body wellness, written word, and more.

Share your expertise and be part of our creative hub located in the Duluth Lakeside neighborhood.

  • Supportive Environment:

    • SOLCA instructors are independent contractors with whom we split class fees 70/30. We collect material fees, handle student registration, and market your class to our Arts Community, folks in the Twin Ports area, and beyond.

    • SOLCA will also provide you feedback after your class via distribution and collection of student surveys.

Multiple Course Formats are Accepted

  • Single Classes:

    • Focused, concise sessions.

    • Ideal for introducing a skill or topic.

  • Short Series:

    • Delve deeper into specific subjects.

    • Condensed, comprehensive learning.

  • Longer Series:

    • Immersive educational journey.

    • In-depth exploration and skill mastery.

  • Craft Your Proposal

    • Develop an idea or course proposal reflecting your expertise.

  • Submit Your Proposal

    • Complete the Class Proposal Form (see below): a brief proposal outlining the class structure, objectives, specific requirements, and relevant experience.

  • Proposal Review

    • Work with our Programming Committee to finalize your vision and class details.
